Atkins Guitar Strap
Damon Atkins plays lead guitar for Whitey Morgan and the 78's band.
We custom made this guitar strap for him in our solid black leather with red embossing foil in our signature War Penguin pattern.
Comes standard with black leather adjutment strap.
Our classic leather guitar strap features a hand-laid leather welted edge for a soft feel against your neck. The underside leather extends to wrap the nose of the guitar strap; a unique feature that reinforces the nose, hides the start and end of the stitch, hides the join of the welting, and creates a clean aesthetic. Meticulously handmade.
Embossed Leather Guitar Straps: Our original artwork is engraved into solid brass wheels for our refurbished 1950's era embossing machine. With a few hundred degrees and many tons of pressure the emboss is seared into the leather.
Dimensions and Sizing:
Guitar Strap Base: 2.5" wide by 35.25" long
REGULAR Adjustment Strap: 21" long with 3 button holes for additional adjustment. When attached to the guitar strap allows a length of 37.5" (shortest setting) to 51" (longest setting).
XL Adjustment Strap: 27" long with 3 button holes for additional adjustment. When attached to the guitar strap allows a length of 43.5" (shortest setting) to 57" (longest setting).
Guitar Strap Life and Care Instructions:
Let your body heat and normal use break in your guitar strap.
- Leather guitar strap gets slightly wet - Wipe off with clean cloth.
- Leather guitar strap gets soaking wet - Do not use while wet. Remove adjustment strap from main guitar strap. Lay both straps flat to dry. Do not apply heat.
- Leather guitar strap gets dirty - Use a lightly damp soft cloth to wipe away dirt. Let air dry.
Hot Stuffed Wax Leather: After a substantial amount of use, or when you feel like it, consider applying a leather balm. This leather will age beautifully with or without it. If you choose to let it age without a leather balm you will get a more distressed look accented by the natural inconsistencies of hot wax stuffed leather. Hot wax stuffed leather is fluid. If you use a leather balm you will still get the desired aged look but more evened out. Both aesthetics are beautiful.
Foil Print Leather: Our foiled leather is protected with two coatings of our proprietary protective coating. Appy a leather balm if the leather looks dry.
All Other Embossed Leathers: Apply a leather balm if leather looks dry.
